The beauty of our Guaranteed Rent Service is in its simplicity, we can have your property onboarded onto the service in just 3 small steps!

The first step of the process is to get in touch with us for an initial consultation.

We're friendly, approachable and if we're coming to you, we'll bring the coffee!

Step 1.

Initial Consultation and Rent Offer

We'll discuss your goals, expectations and address any other enquiries you may have.

We'll make an offer there and then.

Once we've negotiated and agreed a term that we're all happy with, we'll send over our contract for you to view and sign electronically.

Step 2.

Getting the property ready.

With terms agreed, We'll now need to get the property ready for letting.

We'll arrange to carry out any remedial work the property may need and arrange for the issue of all safety certificates and licenses.

An inventory for the property will also be carried out during this time.

Step 3.

Your rent guaranteed.

Upon receipt of your signed contract, we'll transfer across your first months rent and we'll continue to do this for the duration of our contract.

From here on, we'll be responsible for the total management of your property leaving you completely free to focus on the other important aspects of your life.

Why should I choose a guaranteed rent?

You get your rental income on the same day of the month, no matter what, meaning that you know what to expect. This can be particularly useful if you need to pay your mortgage or any other bills as you know that there will be no issues in sending your payments. It helps to give you the certainty that you want when managing your finances. Additionally, if you are saving up for something big, you will also know just how much you can save each month, helping you to invest more into you and your family’s future.

What type of tenants will you let my property to?

We hold high standards at Ekko and our tenants must pass stringent credit and reference checks.

As the responsibility falls on us to pay the rent and rectify any damages that occur during our term of possession, It is in our best interest that we find the best tenant possible. We'll always let the property accordingly to any licenses associated with the property.

Ekko charge zero commission.

We make our money a little differently. We charge no set-up fees or commission, but we will pay you slightly less than the market rental value we hope to get from your property. So, you get slightly less than market rent for the security that having your monthly income guaranteed brings. Our experience has shown us that despite this, our landlords usually receive a higher annual income than landlords using a traditional service or going it alone because voids, rent arrears, court proceedings and the other inevitable but unexpected interruptions to your rental income are our problem and not yours.

How does a Guaranteed Rent Service Work?

In a nutshell, You will be renting your property directly to Ekko so we become YOUR tenant and assume all the responsibilities of a Tenant such as paying the rent, bills, and ensuring the upkeep of the property.

We then sub-let your property on an Assured Shorthold Tenancy (AST) to our tenants and become the Landlord to these tenants and as such, assume all responsibilities of a Landlord. Any issues arising with our tenants have no adverse effect on the agreement between you and Ekko.
