Client Money Protection

As a UK letting agent, we are required to be a member of a government-approved Client Money Protection scheme. It means any money we hold on behalf of clients is insured and recoverable if something were to go wrong.

What this means in practice

All client money is held in a designated, ring-fenced client account, separate from our trading funds.
Client funds are reconciled against ledgers regularly.
If we were unable to repay client money owed, the CMP scheme would compensate clients up to the scheme limits.
